Souplex Double Six/PolSilver. I've been on the Maca Root so long I forgot how nice the post shave feel and scent is with the TOBS. As for the 66, I truly feel sorry for those who need two or three hundred dollar wheels of steel, this was a great shave. A differential head, one side a little too mild for my taste but otherwise super smooth and easy 2+ BBS. I have another Souplex in transit.

Thank you, Doug! This razor worked quite well. I bet it's fairly mild but since I used a twin blade the experience with a single blade would be a little different. The handle is quite long and has a rubber-like grip. Reminds me of a Mach 3 handle. I'm looking forward to trying it out some more to form a better opinion.
RECENT SHAVES Prep: Occams Crushed Lime Pre Shave Soap Razor: Icon X3, Gillette Tech handle Blade: Rubie Brush: Razorock Plissoft Soap: BW phillips Fougere Post: CL TSM Fougere Salve Although i really like the scent of this soap, the performance does not work well for my skin. Have tried different techniques but seem to end up with mediocre shaves. Phillips Fougere has a bright fresh green scent that still made the shave enjoyable despite the circumstances. Prep: Occams Crushed Lime Razor: Icon X3, Gillette Tech Blade: Gillette Rubie Brush: Razorock Plissoft Soap: Lisa's Natural Gentlemans Lavender Post: SC Courage Balm Excellent shave the other day. Lisa's soaps have great performance and are one of the best values when it comes to soaps IMO. Not usually a big lavender fan but this one is pretty good, has a peppery note to my nose that is quite refined. Lather was nice and thick providing plenty of residual slickness. Prep: Occams Crushed Lime Razor: Icon X3, Gillette Tech Blade: Rubie Brush: RR Plissoft Soap: Ellegant Rose Pumpkin Spice Post: SC Fortitude balm Ellegant Rose soaps have quickly made it to my top 10. performance is top notch and most importantly, none of the spicy scents have caused any irritation or burning, which is hard to do with cinimon scents. Pumpkin Spice has a light pumpkin mixed with cinnimon that made the den smell like thanksgiving. Residual slickness was good enough to do touch ups without any lather. Prep: Occams Crushed Lime Razor: Icon X3, Gillette Tech Blade: Gillette Rubie (1st shave) Brush: RR Plissoft Soap: Mike's Bergamot, Orange, Ylang Ylang Post: SC Courage Balm Wonderful refreshing shave early this morning. The clean fresh citrus scent smells great, actually prefer this to the OCBP scent, this one is has a bit more depth and is quite a bit stronger IMO. Also looking forward to the Rose scent he has been tinkering with. Performance is great, no issues with the hard water. Did get a few weepers, but managed a super smooth BBS. Finished off with Courage balm, a bit of face-turbation combined with the menthol soothed and moisturized. Very happy with todays shave results. Hope you had a similar experience!
Doug, much appreciated. I really like the L1 but the L2 is even sweeter. I see from your posts you're also a fan.
