Thank you, Doug. It is pretty much my goto brush now. A nice size knot and a large, comfortable handle. I like the look of it, but obviously there are prettier brushes out there.

These vintage Personna blades seem to be much smoother than vintage Schick blades, at least for me anyway. Two passes with a little touch up for a very smooth and comfortable BBS shave.

Haven't had a straight shave for quite a while. Forgot how good they could be. Absolutely perfect smooth shave resulting in a DFS of the highest standard... only one small patch on my jaw left me short of BBS. But I'm not pushing it today.

Todays shave was with another Japanese Razor. I had a very smooth 2 pass shave, that left me near BBS. One small nick, from a small bump I didn't know I had.
Love these Japanese Razors.

First use of this blade and this soap, rare to have to do many repeat passes with this head, will retest blade with a known performer soap.

Another shave on the correct side of the international time line. This is getting to be a habit. Second shave on the Treet blade and it is still quite excellent, as expected, since I didn't drop or otherwise abuse this one. The OCMM was on its best behavior and the Electric Sheep soap was just gloriously slick and rich. Having all that citronella and eucalyptus was quite refreshing after a long day following a short night. Two passes and touch ups and the baby is in the house, all is well, no blood, and that's a wrap on the day folks!
