Of course, but clothing is seasonal.

Weekends, however, naturally demand more attention to accouterments.

Just of the stones is a heavy grind JWest, everything looked good but the edge was sub-par. I will call this a honing fail. It was sharp enough to shave with but not sharp enough for a close shave with my stubble. At least there was just a tickle from the alum and I smell good.

Charlie, where on earth do you find these dreadful photos?

And in answer to your earlier question, I am not up to jogging yet, but I am walking outdoors now with just a walking stick to help me. And around the house, I mostly just limp around now without using even that. For the last few months, my brother in law was getting my groceries for me while doing his family's weekly shopping, but this week I was able to start doing my own shopping again, including hauling heavy grocery bags. So definitely progress!

To everyone else -- a lot of great photos and shave reports today, gentlemen! I'm not going to comment on them individually because device is slower than molasses, but I do appreciate the effort you all put into them. They make this thread a true pleasure to read every day!

I'm working from behind here so someone else may have added this already but.....a group of badgers is usually referred to as a "clan". However, Flock of Badgers is a truly unique name for a band. I say we start our own.

    SEptember is a Stirling month!

    September 9

Razor - Gem Micromatic Open Comb - OCMM
    Blade - [IMG] (2)
Soap - Stirling sheep lightning.jpg small stupid sheep.jpg
Brush - Stirling Pro Style Synthetic
    Finish - Alum

Another shave on the correct side of the international time line. This is getting to be a habit. Second shave on the Treet blade and it is still quite excellent, as expected, since I didn't drop or otherwise abuse this one. The OCMM was on its best behavior and the Electric Sheep soap was just gloriously slick and rich. Having all that citronella and eucalyptus was quite refreshing after a long day following a short night. Two passes and touch ups and the baby is in the house, all is well, no blood, and that's a wrap on the day folks!

I hope you had a great weekend! Monday looms!!!

Whew. Weekends are entirely too short. An excellent, quick and drama free three pass shave this morning. Even with touch ups the baby stayed just out of reach. A splash of Myrsol Limón and I am off to work. I hope everyone has a great Monday.

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: GEM PTFE
    Razor: Superior Lather Catcher
    Brush: JR #41 badger
    Soap: Stirling Glacial Lemony Orange
Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill aftershave

Superb lather from the Lemony Orange soap was swiped away with ease from the Lather Catcher razor. Nice and easy. Love the layers of cold with the soap first and the splash second. Nice and invigorating. Not much else to report. Great results.

    Enjoy your day!

    Menthol Monday!

I was off my game for this morning's shave. A couple of weepers and redness on my neck. I got lazy with my skin stretching. Two passes and I called it. Tomorrow's another day.

Have a great week, gentlemen! [IMG]
