Boojum, that brush is a killer. I thought my Chubby was a big knot when I got it. That one looks like it dwarfs the Chubby and is one handsome brush to boot.
Got a new Chubby coming Thursday, will post more when it arrives. No hints not another word till it arrives. Only one other soul knows about it at all!
Well gentleman It arrived a day early, but not in time for my shave today. But I introduce to you, named by it's creator Vlasta, "The King of Chub". It's a huge brush with a 28mm High Mountain Whit Badger knot, specs from Vlasta it's overall height of handle 50mm width 46mm it has a 30mm hole. So without further delay here is the new "The King of Chub" brush.
It's a beaut! I've seen photos of them in both Red & Blue. Quite impressive in the natural aluminum finish as well. Do you know if it has an anodized coating or if it's raw and polished? I don't usually ask other guys this kind of things but the subject has already come up - is it marked ? Show me your bottom!
No it is not marked, and I have no idea if it's anodized or just polished aluminium. I will have to ask Steve about that, or he may very well see these posts and tell us.
It is anodised and then polished up. The bottom, as yet, is not engraved with anything. I think I am going to formally name this brush "Titan", King of Chub is also nice!!!!
