Wonderful shave this morning! Two pass with little touch up. DFS. Some extra patience this morning resulted in an irritation free shave.

    Have a great day!

Thank you, Clint. I'm going to stick with the brush for the first half of the month, not sure which I'll use for the second half.

    Stirling R4L Soap
    And Aftershave

I had a package from Stirling waiting for me when I arrived home yesterday. The R4L soap and aftershave set. The profits from the sale of the sets are going to responders4life. I love vetiver based scents and good causes so buying the set was a no brainer for me. As expected the soap was easy to load and lather with great performance expected from Stirling products. The real star of the show is the scent. The scent was inspired by Tom Ford Grey Vetiver. I don't have the scent so I can't compare. However, the vetiver is rounded out with citrus notes over a base of oakmoss. The overall effect is a very lively and fresh vetiver scent. This is easily one of the best vetiver based shaving scents I have encountered. My only suggestion would be to increase the scent strength of the soap and aftershave a notch or two.

Now onto the shave. Nothing special this morning. Just an automatic three pass near perfect shave with no nicks, irritation or drama. I am working remotely this morning so no morning commute. Bad news is I am waiting on a roofer to price out a new roof. I know this one is going to severely hurt the wallet. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

Going to college in Bloomington, Indiana in the 70's, we made occasional beer runs to St. Louis for Coors. It tasted better then.
