@wchnu loaned his dictionary to me. I'll send it on to you, Paul. It's too advanced for me, anyway. Maybe you can make some sense of it.

Very nice, Jason! I get better and more satisfying shaves from injectors and SEs so I made the full time switch. Use what you like and what works for you! Glad the Arlington cream worked well. Traveling in style!

Thank you, Gentlemen. I got very lucky. I’m not sure of the odds of trying one specific British soap one weekend, humming and hawing on ordering it online and then finding that exact cream in a discount store the next weekend.

Got this soap in a trade about 4 years ago and keep it in the rotation,

but with 63 soaps (+ backups...:scared003:) it only sees occasional usage.
Lather creation was very easy after a slight bloom.
The scent dupes the Pinaud to the last olfactory nerve. Wonderful.
One complaint about Stirling soaps a while back, was that they had an undertone
    of "clay" smell.
My nose didn't pick any of that up at all.

The Rooney...just look at this knot:
    IMG_7762.jpg
was simply a pleasure to use.
First pass with the Gillette New SC and I had to check to see if I had remembered to put a blade in.
The audible feedback from the NEW is minimal. One has to rely on feel.
I have to admit, this is not my favorite of my razors.
Actually, I would say that my LC has a slightly more efficient head. JMO.
Three passes and touch up and a BBS shave was achieved.
Large splash of the Pinaud was a classic "barbershop" finish.

My problem is I usually don’t listen to them. At least that’s what my wife says.

My Bride listens for me. When I inevitably start down the wrong path, she tells me what I should have heard. :)
