I don't think I will be buying any more creams from her but I love her colognes, splashes and balm. I will buy those again. The sandalwood splash certainly helped out my butchered face and made it feel good again. I just don't get why her cream needs so much more work than any other cream. A while back I asked her what the trick was to lathering it and she said to put the cream in the bowl, hit it with a wet brush and when the bubbles are gone it is ready. That certainly doesn't work for me.

 

Tracy, have tried any of JoAnnas aftershaves?

 

I told you not to buy the full tubes/tubs before first testing! I've been burned so many times that way. I rarely buy a full anything anymore unless I've tried a sample first. Before starting this quest I never would have thought there could be so many variables and differences out there. It's probably another reason why wet shaving fell out of favor and replaced by canned GOO. There I said it---goo.

 

Aveeno naturals goo is frickin' good stuff.

Yes, I have the indian sandalwood and love it.

I have had her cream before and sold them. Everyone talks about once you get them just right they are great. I guess I decided to give one another shot. Like I said I will keep trying, if my arm will allow it. I figure if I only get burned on the cream I did pretty well. The splashes work great and the colognes smell great, even better the wife likes them.

 

What do you think of the New Spice?

It is probably my favorite. My wife tested them all and this was her favorite. Good stuff, definately has a caramel tone to it.

 

I miss New Spice. I really liked it, and my wife liked the scent, I just couldn't get a small enough spray for it to not be over powering. My wife encouraged me to trade it in. On a bright note, that is how I got Sandalwood.

 

Rodd I have just the trick for you. I emailed Sue and asked if I could get all of my colognes in the square glass bottles. I wanted them consistent for storing and when I travel. She said they were slowly going to the square bottles and that this was no problem. Last night I used it and it only squirts a small amount. Very small squirt compared the Daggar I have in the triangle shaped bottle, and was just the right amount.

Gotta run fellas the driveway needs a good shoveling and we have to take the Christmas tree to the City building for disposal. I will check in later.
