SEptember 12, 2018 This is the Alpha Razor in my shave den. It can be a little intimidating as the safety bar guard is rather short. The blade is practically sitting right on top of it. So, there is a little bit of a learning curve but, once 4-5 shaves are in it becomes more natural and for me is second nature. It’s the only razor in my den that feels like it’s wiping away the whiskers on my face. Light touch and a controlled fall is best how I can describe my shave technique with the Rx. Just a sublime and extremely efficient razor. Definitely my favorite safety razor regardless of format......

SOTD September 13, 2018 A Stirling SEptember Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap Blade: GEM PTFE Razor: GEM G-Bar Brush: Satin Tip 'The Purest' synthetic Soap: Stirling Piacenza Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Piacenza aftershave Nice and easy shave. The G-Bar works well but this blade may be on its last legs. Can't recall how many shaves are on it but it wasn't quite as efficient as it should be. Nevertheless, good shave in the end. Tabac Thursday's Shave Cold Water Wash Tabac Shave Soap Jayaruh #314 eBarbershop Schick O Clone Schick Twin Blade CWR Tabac AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #314 badger brush. I did two passes with the eBarbershop Schick O Clone Safety Razor with a Schick Twin Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
