Ha! Actually you should see that cabinet now. It's overflowing and stuffed with goodies. The SB had to go down under the sink.

That lather actually looks a bit thin to me. Kind of airy. Never used GFT so can't comment. Too expensive.

Done shoveling, tree is disposed of and all my errands are completed. Rest of the day is going to be for relaxation.

Shep send some of your warm weather my way.

It thickened up but i didnt use my regular mug or scuttle. If you want to see airy try some Williams:( GFT is good stuff but not worth the price even though I believe it is much better than T&H. As always.....I will revisit in AM with a new blade. I really hate knocking products down but would hate for someone to invest so much expecting alot. I would rather take one for the team. I want to post on Williams but at that price....whats to knock? Derby sucks also but it is only $3.50. Honestly I think Omega is some of the best bang for your buck when it comes to creams. Wars is great but only 70g for $4? Omega smells so much better. But then again.....BurnWood!

Warming up your tootsies now Tracy? Shoveling is the worst part of winter.

In the cheap category I'd have to say Omega is a pretty darn good bang for your buck. Stepping up a notch to the premium stuff I give the nod to TOBS. It's a third the price of the other T's, and a superior shave (at least over T&H never having tried GFT yet).

I would relatively pleased with the Musgo Real cream that bailed me out this morning. Seemed good and slick for me.

I just attempted 3 more batches of SCS cream with no luck. I tried adding a drop at a time. Tried starting with a wetter mixture before hitting it with the brush, etc, etc, etc. I get nothing but a bunch of air bubbles and nothing that remotely resembles a cream. This is what I remember happening with the first creams I had from there. I apparenlty don't know what the trick is or if there even is a trick. The mixture does get firmer with more water but it is still packed full of air and no creamy, cushioning at all.

    Tracy,
I am into picture taking so I will try to do a picto-torial. Make sure you use plenty of cream also. I skimped and the lather sucked. BTW guys....dont tell Rodd but he just did a nice review for SCS sandalwood AS but check this line out;)
There is little burn, but as with any alcohol based splash, there can be a slight burn, especially if you have any burn.

Maybe razor burn? Should we tell him;)

I appreciate that. I used a pretty good size amount. More than an almond I would say. Maybe I am swirling etc too much thus adding too much air to the mixture.

You also told me that it had a sweet spot. No sweet spot in this batch. Plus I don't give up easily.
