    Tabac Shave Soap
    Jayaruh #314
    eBarbershop Schick O Clone
    Schick Twin Blade
    CWR
    Tabac AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #314 badger brush. I did two passes with the eBarbershop Schick O Clone Safety Razor with a Schick Twin Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Today’s SOTD:

    Duke 2
Hone 15a with Lord Classic blades
Chiselled Face Summer Storm & Castle Forbes Cedarwood and Sandalwood
    Wickhams Citrus Musk AS Balm
    King of Shaves Pre-Shave Oil

It was certainly an interesting mix of scents with the Summer Storm and Castle Forbes combing to give something reminiscent of a dark and slightly dank winter woodland walk.

I’m finally getting some great shaves with the Hone. It’s a bit picky about the blades it works best with but with the right combination it works very nicely indeed. Today’s combination isn’t the best but it gave a more than adequate result.
