Hi folks I’m curious what kind of technique you used around this particular area, since is my Achilles’ tendon I would like to hear your experience (if Adam’s apple apply to you). For me is easier when I shave with a Straight razor than when I shave with DE or SE (I can maneuver more easily around the area). I usually stretch my skin on different ways but still not enough to get a “SMOOTH” feeling pass. So I need a little help more towards DE/SE use. Anyways let me know your thoughts. With agressive blades I Stretch and shave on one side of the adams apple, then slide the shaved skin over the apple and shave the next part. First with, after against the grain. I hardly use 3 passes. With most blades just streching is enough.
This! I'll add that I am extremely careful and I use zero pressure. It takes days for nicks on my adams apple to heal.
What I do is to push the skin to the side of my Adam's Apple where it is flatter. Once to the right and once to the left. That way I'm not shaving over the bump.
Ok I believe Dave nailed it check this out guys: If you swallow and hold the muscle contraction the Adam's apple rises higher in your neck and sinks down so it's not protruding leaving a flat area to shave. Thanks Dave! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Stretch skin to left, shave left. Stretch skin to right, shave right. Don't ever shave straight over the blighter.
