Actually I liked them but both of the handles are too short I'll send them back but if there are any with longer handles I'd be all over it. Thanks for letting me try them out Fuzzy I haven't tried the SS yet but I will tomorrow

 

This pic might be nasty but it is about to turn into something very ugly but tasty as hell! It is marinating in a nice blend of goodness as we type

We will have to see.. maybe I can have a longer handle made by Cooncat bob or something.. never checked into that.., as far as I know there are not longer handled models.

Hehe I'll look into it, for now I'm good with my DEs although I did like the SEs. I'll definitely try to get one in the summer, that is a really good idea about a custom handle.

 

Food Porn!!!

How do you cook your jerky? Do you have one of those special dehydrators? I did jerky once about 12 years ago, I used the oven on a low setting and kept the door cracked - what a waste. It turned out ok, it just took forever and I feel like it was a big waste of energy - and I'm not an energy/green freak type of guy.

There are going to be pics of each stage.....I will combine them all for a thread later on but at least you see what it starts out as.....That is a 3lb London Broil. I use a regular dome type dehydrator....Will try to post a pic later. It is marinating for about 36 hours to absorb all the goodness! this batch is a milder version but still tasty!

All of you guys need to try the Tabula Rasa cream. I haven't crowned it yet but I think it might overtake my beloved TOBS as the best cream. :happy088

Afternoon Fuzzy. It was $15 a tub but the tubs are pretty big. I would say it is the same amount as TOBS but they really pack it into the tub. I should note that it was only $15 for Lee's 12 days of Christmas sale. I think regularly it is $28 at tub.

 

my money will only go to SCS, TSD, WCS and KMF now. anyone else buying me stuff can buy anything they want for me.
