I had a fantastic late afternoon #SOTD Loaded the RazoRock MJ-90A with a Personna Lab Blue. Using the RazoRock Tuxedo Snowman I whipped up a slick and very cushiony lather with the P.160, I love the new formula. Finish up my shave with Amici.

Today's shave was with a Chinese Beauty. Well, a Chinese Razor anyway. I had a super duper smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. Zero issues, and just a minor touch-up, around the chin. This Baby is Full Hollow Ground, takes, and holds a wicked edge. This one only cost me around $3-$4, a couple of years ago, but it is worth 10 times as much to me. These Chinese blades are sometimes really messed up, and require a lot of work, to make right, but this one just needed a little heel work on the blade stabilizers. This blade performs so well, it is deserving of better scales, rather than the cheap plastic ones it came with. Also, they are advertised as Stainless Steel, but trust me, they are made of good old fashioned Carbon Steel, and easily stick to magnets. Razor- Chinese Gold Dollar. Brush- RazoRock 400 with WD High Mountain Badger. Soap- Arko/Sandalwood Aftershave- Vintage Avon Spicy. Viking Horn Decanter.

Thanks. I bought this one of BST to compare against my Delta Echo steampunk slim. Both excellent quality and love the fact both super easy to clean and shave is smoother with the clear coat finish. Sent from my SM-J327P using Tapatalk

SEptember is a Stirling month! September 18 - Let's do the time warp again!!!! Razor - 1912 Gem Blade - (5) Soap - Stirling Ben Franklin Brush - Stirling Two Banded Synthetic Finish - Alum It's a GrubHub night so time warping is unavoidable. That's ok. Made some $$$ and had some fun along the way for a change. Sometimes it's a fun time, sometimes it's enough to make you drive your car head on into a wall. Fifth shave on the Treet Super and it has shown no signs of slowing down. Still smooth and the alum is still quiet after the shave. And, after the usual three passes, the baby is again in the house. Just another one to add to Chris's breastplate of power. With 12 shaves left in the month I think I'll be going back and forth between the 1912 and the 1914 to see if I can determine which I prefer. It may well be a tie. They're certainly closely related. The shaves with these two razors have been outstanding this month. What a fun month it's been with the SE razors. (Don't tell @wchnu I said this but.....I could easily take a break from DE's for awhile and go SE) I have to give the Fuzzy one some credit, though, as he was my coach in discovering the exact technique and gear to try. He is truly a master of the SE world and a fine enabler to boot! Speaking of 12 days to go in the month - it's not too soon to start polishing up those open comb razors in your collection. OCtober is fast approaching!
