One less source of a badger brushes https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2018/09/19/peta-persuades-pg-to-stop-using-animal-hair-in-brushes.html
Interesting. They're going to collaborate with PETA to develop a synthetic brush? What the hell does PETA know about shaving brushes?
Bite your tongue good man. Pest are animals too. It's like banging on snow goose hunters. The things eat fields of early wheat at a time. But they whine about shooting them. I have one AOS badger that was gifted to me. I ended up putting it in a vintage Fuller brush handle. Very low quality brush anyway.
Latest generation of synthetic knots are working well. I'm not siding with peta, but for those that want badger brushes surely a supplier can figure out how to treat the nasty little critters in a kind way. Maybe if they were kept warm, and laid on a bed of rice with a soothing gravy. (YUM?)
Some good comments here. There should be a way of harvesting the hair in a humane way. I also think there are larger problems in the world.
They'll make brushes with half as much hair as a typical synth and charge twice as much. To be fair, their soaps are pretty good, but those brushes...not great.
Stupid people doing stupid things.. They deserve to fail as a business they charge what too much for what they offer
Yeah, I was never a fan of their products as they are over priced compared to what other vendors are offering.
