And she's gone......... Is it truly better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all? Sitting here now, with tears wetting my cheeks, I wonder. Do some lives just shine so bright, that they fade quickly into the night? Are some souls destined to bestow so much love to the world in so little years, that they are emptied of life too soon? The Book says that "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, and that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but shall have eternal life." Did she still believe? Will we meet again one day? Would it be wrong to pray that God allows me such an honor, to spend another lifetime with you?

So, it is. On a cold January night, you left us. Time stood still for a moment, and heaven welcomed you back home. We all cry for you, or are we really crying for ourselves? That sounds more like it. How odd it is to laugh and cry with the same breath. But, I will cry no more. No, we will all smile for you, for you are up there, among the clouds. You can finally ride that rainbow...

I love you, and will miss you everyday, until we meet again.

Rolls, what happened?

 

Good morning all Crappy day in the homestead but a good shave. Jen, I'm glad you liked the sweater. JoAnna....hope you got some rest. Rolls.....hope you are OK or just being Rolls. Kind of bummed so might not be around too much unless something good happens today. I always seem to take one day at a time and take life with a grain of salt. Happy happy joy joy. Some day you must face reality and realize that things arent always going to go your way and everyone is vulnerable to hard times.

Enough of that I got some jerky thats still marinating, finished my book at 5AM, and attempting to organize my life.....All in one day

 

aww man it sounds like everybody isn't have a good day I hope everything is alright

Jen, a woman who I have been close friends with for over 40 years died this weekend. The two of us had been through more together than most could ever know. We were lovers, friends, partners, and were even going to marry at one time.

I will not speak of her anymore for now. It is just too damn hard.

On a happier note, I think we finally killed those little bastards that were stealing my clam chowder!

 

Hey there everyone... Looks some folks are in a down mood. Must be the weather. Remember folks things get better. Have a good shave and lets move on. I am off work today... I think I mentioned that. It is nice to have every other saturday sunday and monday off. I have a big ole pot of snap beans cooking on the stove, and just a few chores to do. Going to call and check on my mom here in a few minutes.

My roomie bought me another razor.. I know nothing about it so the game is afoot until it gets here.
