    Razor - Stirling Soap's Slant
    Blade - [IMG] *3rd shave
Shave Brush - Wood Razor's TruStone Turquoise (with 24mm Synthetic Nylon Knot by The Golden Nib)
Shave Soap - Nile Naturals "Melon Cucumber"
Soap Bowl - Vintage Palissy "Maytime" 1950's sugar bowl
    Scuttle by Karen's Pottery
Post Shave Toner - Humphreys "Cucumber Melon" Witch Hazel
    Aftershave - Williams Aqua Velva
Deodorant - Kiss My Face "Cucumber Green Tea"
    Fragrance - Nautica Voyage

New picture. All the gear looks as good as day 1. The scuttle is the fun part.

***EDIT - Solid shave. I tried to go too far on my neck and had to break out the styptic pencil and rub some alum on. I need to do this set a few more times before the fall. I should have used this set much more during the summer. Man, the summer is going away and it was so fast this year! I can't believe it's entering the Fall! I've got a few October/Halloween shaves planned, but they won't be as cool as the ones I've seen on here.

    NCoxSTL AAACK!

    SEptember is a Stirling month!

    September 21
Razor - Type E Schick Injector
    Blade - [IMG]
    Soap - Stirling Executive Man
    Brush - Jayaruh #54
    Finish - Alum

Switching up for a few days. Taking a break from the Gems and going to the Type E Schick that I got from @CarlfromMO . I stayed with Stirling, Executive Man to be exact, but went with my JR54 synthetic brush. Fine, fine lather. Not my absolute favorite scent from Stirling but it's nice.

Two passes and touch up reminded me how well this razor works. It's a bit on the aggressive side, to say the least. It brought the baby home and left only a very mild reaction from the alum. I had the angle a little high on the first pass which probably caused that. All in all a great shave and a nice diversion in between delivering and driving alcohol challenged people around for the night. Hope you have a great Friday night and start to the weekend!

It's a very nice brush. The longer I use it, the better it gets. You should try a Straight Razor, at least for a week, before you decide if they are for you.

Try going to Whipped Dog. Larry has plenty of shave ready razors . Or, best yet, find one on Ebay and send it out to be honed. Dont trust sellers on ebay, when they say it is shave ready.
