James, my neck was constantly irritated during my years of shaving with an electric razor. I had what looked like razor burn for some time after I began DE shaving, but eventually it cleared up. I'm hoping your shaving spots will clear up too. You're making tremendous progress, and the shaves will only get better from here. Have a great weekend.

What a great way to start the day, Clint! The OneBlade has always interested me, but I'm not keen on the blade choices for it. It would be more compelling for me if it accepted the Feather Professional SE blades.

Have safe travels and fun today. I hope you come home with a @mrchick sized haul from the antique shops. Sit in the back of the room and keep a low profile, or you may be elected to an office in your HOA. ;)

Thank you Charlie. Keep an eye for the razor I use next week. It is a cross between a OneBlade and Cobra. Plus it uses Feather Professional Blades.

I hope my wife does not find stuff she likes. I am afraid that good get very expensive. Too late, I am in the front of the room since I am the Treasurer. So in some regards today is just another work day.

    Good morning!

Great shave on this fine Saturday morning. Two pass with touch up, DFS. My blade seemed to give up on me earlier than usual. I have accumulated so many blades it's been three and out without thought of whether or not they could go further. I noticed my Astra was pretty tuggy this morning, especially on the ATG pass on my right jaw. Didn't cause any issues, just something I noticed.

Fall is upon us. It has me thinking about my software choices for OCtober. I don't think about scents and seasons but next month is going to be bay rums, tobacco's, and cocoa/coffee scents. I'm looking forward to it.

    Have a great weekend! [IMG]

I'll keep an eye out for next week's razor. I detect a little Saturday morning enabling, but I asked for it. I have 8.5 years worth of Feather SE blades (what was I thinking?), so I better get busy with some serious SE shaving.

I suspected you'd be involved in the HOA finances. Oh well, it's just one more Excel spreadsheet with a couple dozen pivot tables and pie charts.

Just between you and me, I certainly hope your Bride finds nothing she likes today. That leaves more Franklins in the till for shaving goodies. ;)

That's a sweet set up, Jim! Everything just works together in your SOTD photo. I agree with you...I'm ready for some Bay Rum scents now that the weather is beginning to turn cooler. Have a great Saturday!

I thought you'd be in a better mood since you snagged the senior discount this morning. ;) Breakfast looks good, by the way. I'd do a Coke for breakfast too.

Lol. I get asked about the senior discount a lot. Lol

That's a subtle but important skill you have developed. Counting blade uses keeps you in the sharp zone. Now that you know what a dull one feels like consider stop and swap any time it happens. Especially during a shave. Life's too short to live with razor bumps!

Thanks, Rick. I have yet to swap blades mid shave. I can think of one shave that I should have. My worst shave while being a part of the 30DC. Must have been a dud blade, left my face red and irritated.

They have reduced massively since I first started wet shaving, but particularly since starting to use the GEM blades. I don't feel any burning or anything there, so I guess it could be residual and take a little while to disappear. Thank you for the light at the end of the tunnel and the kind words!
