Mixed shave with the ikon tech and ikon combo head. The tech is not as aggressive as I thought. It’s not smooth but not bad. The combo head is pretty awesome. I’m gonna experiment a little more

    SEptember is a Stirling month!

    September 23
Razor - Type E Schick Injector
    Blade - [IMG]
    Soap - Stirling Iced Coffee
Brush - Stirling Two Banded Synthetic
    Finish - Alum

Two days growth tonight and I have the right instrument at hand. Many razors would handle this with ease, but the Schick E seems especially suited for it. I wanted a slick and great smelling soap so it was the Iced Coffee from Stirling. This is such a magnificent soap both in terms of performance and scent. Even the look is rather unique. You'd almost swear it was a cream filled donut.

Hard to find any fault with this soap at all. I lathered it with the Stirling synthetic brush and got an outstanding lather. The Schick had no trouble at all taking care of the extra day's growth. Smooth as silk and after three passes the baby is asleep and snoring. Can't beat it!

One more week in Stirling SEptember and it will be time for the OC's to come play in OCtober. The last several months of the year are favorites for me. SE, OC, a nice Rule in November and finally Decadence! We're on a roll! Have a great Monday!

A great way to kick off the week and a reminder that great soaps and splashes can be had cheaply.
    Happy Shaving one and all.

    Menthol Monday's Shave

    Cold Water Wash
    Fine Snake Bite
    Jayaruh #319
    Bunny V3 Injector
    Schick Proline B20 Blade
    CWR
    Osage Rub

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Fine Snake Bite Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #319 brush. Using the NOTSO comb, I did two passes with the Bunny V3 Injector Razor with a Schick Proline B20 Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

The Vision shaves me closer than any straight I've used. Terrific shave today! Smooth and easy wide open with care.

    Fine "Marvel" razor
    Silver Star blade
    Fine "Classic" brush
    Taconic Eucalyptus Mint SC
    Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
    Taconic Eucalyptus Mint A/S

The Marvel razor is heavy for sure but not sure it's really a Marvel. Looks good, shaves well and I will use it often but won't be me one and only. The Classic brush is a nice synthetic so I'm happy with it for sure. My face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Going to have to try the Game Changer 84 head, have you used Maggards V3A head? I've been throwing it on many of my sticks and like them.

I have and do like the efficiency of the V3A but I don't think it would be much of a contest in smoothness.

I'm going to need a good Sandalwood aftershave before long-the WSP will run out, and still lots of same-name soap to go.
