The women in the family think they are going to pick the color, but I really am.
The truck i already have has electric windows, and seats, etc. But, all that stuff isnt really that important to me. The electric doors do make installing alarm systems easier though.

With the vehicles being computer enabled, I see Smart Phone apps happening. Remote start, lock & unlock, etc. They ought to give the consumer ability to read diagnostics, too.

Well, I picked it up, it took 30 minutes once i arrived, and the Dealership brought me there.
I spent a little more than I wanted, but got things I wanted in it. I did this today, on my day off, so i wouldnt have to tote the whole family along.

2018 Wrangler Sport S Unlimited. 4dr, 3.6 V6, Auto. Hardtop, with Alpine audio system(for me), electric windows/locks.. Firecracker Red paint(for me).
Now, just in case, i purchased the 10 year 100,000 mile extended warranty. I've never purchased one before, but Jeeps can have gremlins.

I agree, but just about everything is going push button. I asked if i could get it without, and they said "No, not with the options you want".

My husband drives a Jeep Liberty. We looked at the Wrangler, which has higher ground clearance. That proved to be a problem for me. I have arthritis in my knees and had difficulty getting into it, while the height of the Liberty was perfect for me. (I am about 5’8”)
The 4WD is great on snow; it feels like any other car, driving on dry ground.

Can you fellow members provide your favorite links, to after markets jeep accessories? There are a couple things i need. Priority one is Nerf Bars. Priority two are tires. The factory ones are a little small. I also need to find out what the largest set of tires that can fit, without rubbing. 17 inch rims.

Excellent floor liners, and incredibly good customer service.

I got grab handles and a fire extinguisher holder from Rebel Off Road. The fire extinguisher is the MaxOut from H3R Performance. It has metal parts, including the head unit, and is refillable. That means it will pretty much last forever, and can be refilled at any local fire extinguisher service center. Every motorist needs a fire extinguisher, set of tools and a first aid kit.

I will probably get a pair of rock sliders from Ace Engineering soon. They protect the side of the body, and also provide a step of sorts.

Perhaps best place to ask is on Jeep forums and YouTube channels, as that is where concentrations of expertise and experience are found. Here resources I have found particularly useful:

    Jeep Wrangler Forum
    https://www.wranglerforum.com/

The Fast Lane Cars Jeep channel:
    https://www.tflcar.com/category/brand-2/jeep/

    TrailRecon YouTube channel:

There is also a JL Wrangler-specific forum at:
    https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/

You might find this video from Extreme Terrain useful regarding tire sizes:

They have lots of very useful informational videos. Of course, it is geared towards selling their product lineup. Informative in general nonetheless.

I think that the best information of all would likely come from members of your local Jeep club. Hope all this is of some help. Happy trails! :)
