Evening, all. Time for me to play catch up again.

JoAnna - Sorry your cat is sick and I'm glad it stopped throwing up.

Rolls - I'm sorry for your loss. Hope you're doing alright.

Yeah. This place is like the ugliest hooker on the street corner.

    You've gone viral, Shep.

Dom, I just spent a half hour flushing out an aurora 88P. It had some funky fuzzy looking mold or fungi growing on the nib.

I like to enter with bang.

    Evening, Tracy.

    Mmmm. Hullo, Jim.

Oh boy. Was it full of old ink? What did you flush it out with? I almost bought an Aurora with a Stub about a year ago. What's the nib on yours and how would you say it writes?

Haha. Yes. I've got a pack of Astras on my kitchen table to send out to you. I wanted to include a couple other things with it, so I haven't sent it out yet.

You and Tracy are still waiting on packages from me. Sorry for the ridiculous delay. I've got samples of TOBS Mr. Taylor for both of you. They'll go out before Friday. I'll send 'em priority.

No, it was empty. but it's a piston filler, so a bit of a pain to rinse out.

I used a .5% ammonia solution, hopefully that will have killed everything off,

Back to the original programing before Shep has a fit, or everyone flees the room due to pen talk.

Anybody have some proraso splash or la toja sensitive SC they want to sell me?

Whew. Don't know how I missed it earlier, but I just read through the badger hair thread over on the brush forum. It went mildly sideways a few times, but nothing approaching the vitriol I've seen elsewhere. Good job keeping it mostly civil boys and girls. It's run it's course now so I didn't post.

Well that does it for me. Time to head out. And I was just teasing about the mail Dom. Send it whichever is cheapest for you. That's what I always do and they still arrive quite quickly.

    Laters.

I tend to keep my piston fillers inked with the same ink. I prefer the piston fillers - they hold a greater amount of ink. Sorry to ask again, but maybe you missed it when I asked - what nib do you have on it? And how does it write?

Night, Shep. Priority flat rate will probably be the most cost-effective way of mailing it anyway.

It's a medium, but pretty fine for a medium, has a bit of flex/line variation.
    It's a very smooth writer.
I also just got at 1960's MB 344 with a medium nib/semiflex, this is a very sweet writer.

Yep, guess it just doesn't like that many characters of any kind without a space in there somewhere.

Good night all. I just added pics to my toggle disassembly thread, but that is it for me tonight. I will work on it some more soon.
