Joseph, did you break out the rose colored glasses as well ? Excellent post! Can you explain a little more verbosely how the blade gets stuck ? I'm guessing that is a notched center bar and not a butterfly wing ?

    RyX DoH!

I have a Gillette that does this. I think it's the '55 Red Tip. Could be the standards for blade cutouts was still evolving, or modern blade makers don't take into account all variations of vintage razors.

    Never too young to start?

The granddaughters just discovered my grandmothers old upright piano yesterday. It was tucked away in the back den and covered with boxes of stored stuff. As an after school project we're going to dig it out so they can plink at their leisure. My youngest brothers widow has taught piano. Might see if she's available to give some beginner lessons!

Thank you, Jason. The data sheet stuff was a little long, most definitely, but it was also necessary. The presentations are a mixed bag. In reality, some of the people are pretty good presenters with good papers. Others, not so much.

Really glad that you have enjoyed the products! I like the Astra blades and LOVE the Palmolive stick... Never did quite get on with the 34c the way I have with other razors. Really glad it's working for you!

Anyone ever use one of these? Durham Duplex demonstrator. Thanks to @Terry I have several Personna blades that fit it. It ended up a veddy nice shave actually. I expected the modern industrial blade to be rough. I was wrong. Veddy nice shave. The brush is a recent reknot of a ER 650PB with a Virginashing finest badger. Cheapo but so far veddy nice. It did a great job on the Stirling Ozark Mountain!

That brush looks great, Fuzzy! I have a bunch of DD's in a box but all have either white or black scales.

I was just thinking that we haven't heard from Mark @Boojum1 in a while. Hope all is well.
