My prep was just a cold water rinse. The LaToja Shaving Stick face lathered well with the Jayaruh #319 brush. I did two passes with the Gem Jr. 1907 Safety Razor with an Original Gem Cutlery SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Mennen Skin Bracer AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Can you give us a preview of the scent profile?

 

Recent addition to my small injector collection a G-? with a uncommon Crimson handle. No visable seam but may be just worn off. The razor has all the other markings of a G series.

 

That's one nice looking Injector Razor. They shave so well and I really like the handle color.

Doppelgänger is a line of soaps that are introducing their new base, "CK6", not a specific fragrance. The Doppelgänger line will clone some modern, mainstream fragrances. This is a move that's simply atypical of Phoenix Shaving, but apparently there have been so many requests, they relented. Each of the products in the Doppelgänger series will be identifiable by label color scheme with the only mention of the intended clone coming by way of the product page. I'm pretty sure that's how this is intended to roll out, but I may have that wrong. The tubs that I tested / reviewed were "black label" as pictured. The Black Label corresponds to their clone of Dior's Sauvage. I believe Ralph Lauren Chaps and Penhaligon's Sartorial are among the roll-out. That hasn't been officially announced, though.

A Schick/Eversharp Type I-2 Hydromagic with a Personna 74 blade. Omega 98 boar, sat. night brush skully by brent jacobson..

 

that is! I am thinking the later models had that? I never see a ornate handle 1912 with that cap. I have seen some new stuff today, that sun ray 1912 is so cool! The Maroon handle type G. i love oddities... and i scored another star 1912 baton handle that is green, now that is something I never seen! can't wait. .. now i have red, green, black. now I search for a blue baton handle

 

The pic was misleading, it's a regular 1912 topcap.
The only curved 1912 topcap I have is the Dammo.

HA,HA....If me.....my I-pad died with no notice!

But circumstances alter cases....so....I am working On learning how to type on this thing. Right now I'm using the microphone... I Might get a handle on this thing yet...

 

Sunday Evening Shave

AS: Florida Water

All round fantastic shave this evening. The Boots make a wonderful slick creamy lather. The ER as always delivers. Finished everything off with some nice Florida Water.

Brush: JR #41 badger
Soap: C.O. Bigelow cream
Post: Witch hazel, Barbasol Pacific Rush aftershave

Easy shave with the Micromatic. I was scared away from this razor a couple of years ago but am glad to have a chance to return to it. Efficient and easy. Nice results. Have a great day!
