1. Mine has to be cleaning up the leftover lather from my beard after edging it. That is it, I absolutely hate it.

  4. Forum posters, who insist there is a "degree" of BBS shave. (BTW, I have not encountered that ridiculousness here at TSD)

  9. Ear hair, as well as nose hair.
Straight face, clean shaven, smellin' nice, easy to step out. Then I notice those pesky hairs, not supposed to pluck them, but i do.

  10. Why aren’t we supposed to pluck them. I can’t fit a razor in my ear

  12. That was/is a classic Stooge scene.....Moe learned you aren't supposed to sing when you're being shaved by someone.

  13. Same here. My facial hair doesn't grow fast, so I have no reason to shave every day (which drives me nuts).

  14. You're supposed to put your elbows in your ears and smother the excess hair. Yeesh. I thought everyone knew that.

(Unless that was a serious question. In which case, the answer is that especially nose hair shouldn't be plucked b/c of the higher risk of the pore becoming infected. I've never heard "don't pluck" for ear hair.)

  15. Right, I have a battery-operated machine for the nose hair. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
  16. At the moment, my "one thing" is people under you who refuse to accept "no" as an answer.

  17. Because, you can't put your elbows in your nose.

Seriously tho, I read something recently that said to be careful about the noise level on those things (which is unregulated) when using them in your ears. Potential for hearing damage over time if the trimmer is comparatively loud.

  19. #1 with a bullet - glue dots on blades.

#2 is people who insist that there is only one right way to do things.

#3 is people who insist that "X" product is absolutely the best (or worst) of its type, rather than the best/worst for them.

Come to think of it, the last two aren't strictly shaving related. Ignore them.

  20. Okay, I'll be the one to say it.

That moment, ever so gradual in sneaking up on me, where what challenges and frontiers of wet shaving I wanted (or could afford) to explore had been explored, rendering shaving once again routine...even humdrum. Of much better quality, still, than pre-DE, but, yeah, just another daily routine where the novelty had fell off like...tears...in rain.

    Time...to grow another beard.
