This razor never fails to perform. Very nice shave today. Cella Shave Soap Portland Razor Company Brush Craftsman Razor PRC Citrus Bay After Shave Have fun!
Thank you, John! I, like @Primotenore, really enjoy these old OC TTO razors. I definitely recommend them of you are looking for one.
Out of curiosity...How do you guys get your Razors so shiny? Is it just regular soap and water or is there another factor involved?
My word! A 30mm SynBad PLUS a 24mm Flat Top (which I think is also the SynBad fibre)... You really went hog wild at APShaveCo, didn’t you?
Just those two knots, so not completely hog wild. I’ve actually only made one handle in the past half year or so, and just had an itching to turn a few different ones, I guess. Did pick up a couple of nice chunks of different hardwoods as well. Enough Poculi for about 10 handles, or maybe a few bowls, and enough Sapele for a couple.
You guys make me feel better about my soap disorder as it is limited to soaps. I don’t have enough razors or brushes to go 30 days without a repeat. I’m just saying no to no no variation November. I’m gonna kill a 1oz soap sample this year even if it kills me. Glad you are enjoying them. It’s a great traditional Bay Rum, I’m just not a Bay Rum guy. Lavanille is one of my all time favorites. It’s one of the few times I pull out my synthetic brushes because of the purported staining issue. Not a big deal, particularly for the awesome scent pay off! Maybe I should use it as an excuse to bring out one of the horse hair brushes more often.
I'm not exaggerating when I say I could shave for at least 6 months without repeating a razor. Now, a lot of them need to be honed, but the raw numbers are there. As the keeper of the list of killed soaps, and a follower of your Review of 130 Plus Soaps thread, I will believe it when I see it.
Great photo and lineup Joseph. My Delta Echo SC is up for duty next. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
