"Clement". German Made. Wedge, Barbers Notch. Part of the Restoration Lot. This should be a fine shaving little wedge, once restored and honed.
Gold Dollar 66 China All the hard work has already been done. Someone already filed down the blade stabilizers, and put a decent starters edge on it. For .99 cents, it was hard to pass up.
Bought the lot for the Waterville .Can not wait to restore her .The Waterville horn scales have been eaten by bugs .Not sure if I am gone to use Buffalo horn or very colorful Kirinite Scales.I included a pic of the Kirinite scales .
A sentimental purchase, actually a repurchase, of a Robeson ShurEdge. This was my first vintage razor purchase, and I think I got it shaving just off a Naniwa 12k, as that was all I had. I gifted it on to another new shaver and have not had another Robeson since. Always loved the motto on the blade face. This one has lost some of the hammered tang due to some grinding I guess, but still a great blade. And it is the same model 15-A-250 that I had previously... I guess I have a Medium beard with a face exposed to the weather. Tom
I have been away for away and this was waiting when I got back home. Snail Forge 8/8 Damascus quarter hollow Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
The scales are a great match for the blade, congrats! Yowzer, congratulations! That is a special one, congratulations.
Thank you, took a long time for this one, but definitely worth the wait. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
Not a problem at all, just did my first strop with it. Very easy to handle. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
"Lion Brand"#601 By Yankee Cutlery. Camel Bone Scales. It came very sharp. I will test it later. I just stropped it. It was tree topping but failed the HHT. So, to the stones it goes.
Crown & Sword #1720 Made in Germany This one also came very sharp, from the same seller. Probably an estate sale, or find. Someone took care of them. I stropped it, and it was a tree topper, but also failed the HHT. To the Stones it goes.
They both look good. Two in a row that treetop? That’s more than what has ever shown up at my place shave ready. Most that I’ve recieved would barely cut butter.
