Has anyone ever had Don Francisco coffee? I keep seeing coupons for it and would love to try it, but it isn't around here...maybe it's only in SAN Franciso(and suburban areas).
When I'm at work ... I need to buy my Mom some of these K-cups. I ran out of coffee at home ... been using Tasters Choice.
Today was a lazy day so fired up the Kuerig and a Kcup of Dunkin Donuts blend with some breakfast and then went out for a 21.5 mile road bike ride.
Community coffee with Chickory. It's a favorite of mine, and of course I know @wchnu likes it as well. It is a good balanced cup of coffee. If I'm in the mood McDonald's does ok, but I still like my community with Chickory.
Never heard of it until now. But poking around the website I see Publix carries it. They are all over the south. Still nowhere near you though.
Thanks for researching. I hope the Boston Globe figures that out and stops adding their coupon in it.
On advice of @wchnu I tried this brand this morning, OMG!!!! It will be in my rotation from here on out. I hate to admit this, but I do like Starbucks breakfast blend . It is a mild cup, and not acidic.
Usually locally medium roasted whole beans that grind up for cold brew or a Moka Pot espresso. Otherwise, I just picked up a Cameron's Specialty Jamaican Blue Mountain. Not too thrilled with it.
You assume none of us drink tea @gorgo2 . Why can't we belong, what makes us so different!? Just messing with you bro .
I might just hold my breath and get a Chickory soon. SUpposed to have good health benefits. There are two name brands with it in the local supermarket.
2/3 Peet's Major Dickason's Blend and 1/3 Java Love Bad Ass Blend. (Finished the Peet's and started the Java Love). Freshly ground in a Baratza Virtuoso grinder on 30, brewed in a vintage Bodum french press, accompanied by frothed milk in a manual Bodum milk frother and enjoyed from a vintage Victor diner mug. Delicious. Can't wait for tomorrow when it will be 100% Java Love beans.
I'm still shocked that I have taken this long to try the cafe bustelo. I have made the decision to switch brands.
This might be a little cliche (not as bad as Pumpkin Spice)... But in the fall I'll cook up a few batches of Cinnamon Syrup (same as Simple Syrup but with a Cinnamon stick) and add a splash to my coffee or evening beverage. It really gives it a nice subtle fall taste. Cinnamon Syrup: 1 part Water, simmered with a Cinnamon stick for 20-30 mins, then add 1 part Sugar, simmered until fully dissolved, let cool and bottle with the Cinnamon stick.
Just fresh ground coffee from the local Whole Paycheck. I find it to be a lot better than anything in a can or vacuum pack. They jacked up the price recently, so I will have to find another source. Also, the store is really starting to decline after the Amazon takeover.
