    Good morning!

    Great shave to start the day. Uneventful two pass with light touch up. DFS.
    This is only my second use of Mickey Lee Soapworks but as of now I'm impressed. Quick and easy to lather. Thick and slick with great post shave feel.

    October 9 SOTD:

    Razor: PAA Ascension SS
    Blade: Voskhod
    Brush: PAA Atomic Rocket
    Lather: PAA AGHARTA
    Aftershave: PAA AGHARTA
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Unscented PSB

    My maiden shave with this razor. It is odd, in that it is obviously similar to the original DOC, but it is also very different. The curvature of the head makes the angle quite a bit different and there is more blade feel with this razor. Both are very smooth, and the grooves kf the top caps in each razor does allow for a layor of lather to be left behind which is useful for some buffing. This razor is also significantly heavier than the original. In fact, this is a heavy razor. This razor is still mild, similar to the DOC. I will give it a quarter turn tomorrow to see how that feels. The initial impression of this razor is very positive, though.

    Thank you, Jim! Yes, the soap and AS are new as well. I also got some of the Pumpkin Bay Rum, and will use that this weekend when I have lots of time around the house, as I suspect my wife will approve. I am officially on a NB period.

    Barrister’s Reserve Cool

    3rd shave with the NEW and Spoiler. Hadn’t pulled out this quality cream in quite awhile and was rewarded with a good lather and a nice ‘wake me up’. 2 passes and a little neck touch up has left me pretty smooth again.
