FYI, I believe the Splash is still available through the Jeeves site. The soap has long been sold out.

Thanks Jason. On our adventure so far today we found a fantastic seafood restaurant. We had grouper for lunch, and it was excellent. I believe we'll just see a hard rain and some wind gusts over the next few hours and be back in our condo tomorrow.

Understood, boss. I noticed Sharp Stars are $8 per 100 on the Bay. I think I'll get a few. Too good to pass up, plus it takes them out of circulation. Might keep someone from injuring themselves. It's a heavy burden when you're a selfless member of the Cartel.

Builder cut the sliding door opening 4" too tall. I gave him the correct measurements. :angry019: Luckily, the window installer was able to drop the header to the correct height. If you ever build anything, be sure to stock up on Tylenol...or Lagavulin.

Such dedicated service will win you a medal though. And seating closer to the head of the table at the next meet-up. Gotta have some perks, y'know. Glad you are helping rid the world of those terrible, really awful and disgusting blades. Well done comrade.

Again I must say, no such thing as "too many soaps". Just "too little space" to contain the right amount of soaps.

I'll let you know how the time thing works out. Have to be in the big city of Hugoton by mid-afternoon Sunday so the outward bound trip will be pretty brutal. I have no desire to stay one minute longer than necessary out there so might have some more time on the way back to civilization.

It's not the decoder ring problem that will keep you from being promoted. It's the lack of vodka arriving at HQ from Kentucky. Yes, yes, I know - Kentucky means bourbon. But even the greenest newbie knows you can hide vodka in a bourbon bottle.

He didn't lose any money on the deal. I was glad he was able to do the soap for us, and I had offered that I cover anything that didn't sell to make it more appealing. As we got closer to the meet up, and still no way to order the soap, I kind of panicked. I can do $30 here and there on shave stuff without Mrs. Gulch getting upset, but if I had had to put out a large sum of money, that would have been an issue. When we do the next one, going to ask for a few deadlines so we can make sure everything is done and ready to be ordered at least a month in advance.
My first job was at Kathy's Donut Farm in Glendale, AZ. Warm cake donuts with the frosting still hot, with a fresh cup of black coffee, while talking with members of Glendale's finest is one of my fond memories of that place. French Crullers are my second favorite donut.

Mr. Donut, South Charleston, WVa. Not my first job, but early on. Also applied at Taco Bell the same day but the donut shop was ready to hire being run by the owners instead of Corporate outlet. I passed the interview - knowing how to count back change from a cash drawer. Today's cashiers don't have a clue how to make change. If the bill is a buck 'o nine and you give them a dollar and a quarter, they need a calculator.
