Still rolling along with the NEW SC and Spoiler. One more day with this combo, and then on to a different OC. Another quality Jeeves product, although as I’ve mentioned before, I do wish the scent strength was stronger in this one. Got a bottle of Vintage Avon Spicy this weekend. First use this morning and it seems like a decent Old Spice dupe. My neck is itching a bit now though, 40 minutes after shaving. Will have to see if it is an issue.
    Have a great day all!

The Key Lime was a generous gift from Adam. I would not say that it is my favourite lime scent, nor my favourite Jeeves scent, but is a fine product. I have 4 Jeeves scents in either soap or splash- BoS, Apothecary, Tobacco&Bay and Key Lime. My fave of the bunch is Tobacco Bay. It was also labelled Velvet Jacket for awhile, I believe.
I’ve loved that brush ever since you got it, Jim. He also had a very informative video he posted on his techniques. Almost made me want to go buy some resin.
Nice pic, Perry! You’ve reminded me that I haven’t yet tried my Hendrix sample. Will have to rectify that oversight this weekend.
Another stunning combo, Jim! You certainly are amassing a great den of products.
Sounds like a great, relaxing start to the day, Charlie. Enjoy!

A wonderful shave to start the day. The brush still has the boar odor but is breaking in nicely. Two passes and touch ups ended in a near perfect shave. In the spirit of overindulgence I used some Krampert’s followed by the Grand Bay. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

Thank you, Clint, and you as well.
I’m following the break in and your usage of this boar knot with interest. I had a similarly lofted boar that I just never really got comfortable with.

    Thank you Perry.

Of all the knot types boar is my least favorite. In the past I have had an Omega 49 and 3 Zenith boar brushes, that I have given away. Recently I came to appreciate boars a little more so I am hopeful this one works out. I admit that I am pressing in pretty firmly while loading the brush to help splay and loading. I am hoping that this will not be needed as the brush breaks in.
