I use alcohol free witch hazel as my first after shave splash. Then depending on my mood and how my face feels, I'll use splash, milk, or balm. Only one though. Like today, I did the WH, then the Pinaud Bay Rum splash.

I'm finding that as my shaves improve, I really don't necessarily need a balm or milk. Although I do like the TSD Milks... it did take a bit to get used to the thinness of it though..

I bet that is some good smelling stuff. How does it shave?

 

I think it is just a different scent of the regular JMF, which is my favorite cream. I have the regular (iced lime) and Polar ice now. Cheap and amazing quality.

 

I have never tried it. I might have to pick some up.

I highly recommend splitting one. The polar ice and oriental spice are "small" at 8 oz. The regular is HUGE!

Very tempting, I am about due for a shaving essentials order. But I have so darn much cream, and soaps, and aftershave, and razors and blades and brushes, etc.

 

I received a sample of Fraser's Polar Ice and it really is quality stuff.

 

Rodd what is your benchmark cream?

I am trying to not spend any more money on shave stuff for at least 2 months. Or at least til I start getting rid of all my stuff through use of it.
