    APShaveCo U-Brush with 24mm Flat Top knot
    Hendrix Classics Barbershop soap
    Alum and Hendrix Classics Barbershop balm test sample jar

    I tried out the last of my OC razors yesterday, so today I took a break from them. Jason @jtspartan took me up on my offer to loan out razors to try and in return sent me his Injectomatic to play with. I have some vintage PAL blades in my stash, so I loaded the razor with the manufacturer's own blade.

    I found the shaving angle of the razor quite natural after using the PAL Adjustable and also the Supply v.2, which follow a similar design -- and one that is different from the Schicks.

    Two passes to a BBS; the alum detected no errors. I sensed that this razor could really bite, but if you keep the angle shallow (but still cutting) and the pressure non-existent, it delivers a great shave.

    Razor: Schick G1
    Blade: Personna PTFE (1st use)
    Brush: Ever Ready w/ 24mm Tuxedo knot
    Soap: TOBS Peppermint
    Post Shave: Nivea Sensitive

    A break from the wonderful OCMM has yielded a bloody marvelous shave! Shaving with a Schick for the very first time felt like shaving with a butter knife. So beautifully smooth... Just like my face after three rapid passes. The angle was a breeze to find, and I was flying around my face with this thing!

    Huge thanks to @Screwtape for the amazing little razor and the blades to go with it, and to @Linuxguile for this awesome brush. The razor is a wonder - the closeness of the shave and the post shave feel is fantastic! The brush performed beautiful in the bowl with my TOBS, I am not really much of a face latherer - I just whip it up in the bowl and gently paint it on... The softness of the brush is wonderful!

    How many shaves do you guys usually expect to get out of a Personna injector blade?

    Like the SE blades for Gem razors, injector blades last longer than DE blades. I think the longest I have gone on one was 15 shaves; I have heard some people claim 30. I usually figure 7 to 10 shaves though as a safe bet. I know when Supply Co sells those 20-blade cartridges, they say a cartridge is about six months of daily shaves, which is also roughly 10 days per blade.
