I only point it out to thank you both for your incredible generosity. It has nothing to do with an expected and predictable lack of self-control that makes betting with you nearly like taking candy from a baby. And that isn't personal, it's just the way of things here at the 30DC. Us? Not buy something shaving related? Oh sure, there are those who are mature enough and able to muster the will of their superior minds to make it a year. But for the average guy, you know, like you two....not a chance I was gonna lose. In other words.........

(Just for the record, I attempted a "no-buy July" back in 2015. Just one month was all I was going for. Missed it by about 3 weeks. That's why my Omega 10060 brush is called the "Brush of Shame". I blew a month no-buy for a $7 brush. So take any or all of my shoe dropping with as big a grain of salt as you want)

 

You won't hear me try to talk you out of that.

Safe arrival in the wasteland of my birthplace. 34 degrees with Northerly winds about 35 with gusts to 45. Light rain which is just adding a layer of cold. Yep, it's the "paradise" you can easily allow me to "enjoy" and not miss a thing. In case you think I'm lying and really enjoying a 5 star resort location I took a pic out the window of our room on the 3rd floor. No, we're not out in the middle of the country. We're on the edge of town. My sister beat us here and we have visited a bit. Getting ready for the remainder of the evening. Have a great evening wherever you are!

I’m glad to see from the updated pic that riding a fancy trike while wearing knickers grows a boy up to a fine young man quickly. I’m following along with great interest to see at what point of the story things start to go off the rails...
