    Monday Shave

    In focus and getting with the theme. Getting very near the end of this tub of MdC. This is my first time to try a vintage Wilki and it was just OK. To join in with the OC fun today's razor was an ATT H2.

    Soap: MdC
    AS: Speick AS, Stirling
    Scent: Dior Fahrenheit

    Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: GEM PTFE
    Razor: GEM Micromatic
    Brush: Ever Ready 100T restored badger
    Soap: Hendrix and Classics Company Barbershop
    Post: Witch hazel, Speick aftershave

    Easy shave with the Micromatic. Light pressure and angle and it will work wonders. I've been lucky so far with my return to this razor and haven't had any major cuts or weepers or irritation. Just smooth shaving. The beast has been fairly tamed it seems. Wonderful lather from the Hendrix soap and a nice finish from the Speick. Can't ask for much else.

    It was a competition, but the format was slightly different. It was technically called a festival, so you perform and are adjudicated and receive ratings, but the bands and groups aren't compared against each other.
