I immediately showed this picture to SWMBO. Still in the dog house, but not as severely.

 

I'm getting two sample aftershaves from Long Rifle Soaps. Hunting Lodge and one they just introduced-1776. Among the fragrances in Hunting Lodge is "mentholated tobacco". Let's see if that is better than Fireball tobacco.

 

The Lime Sec. may be part of my "2019 Clubman Pinaud Purchase Package". I already have the Razorock Lime Soap to go with it.

 

Nice den, Randy! Terrific organization. Tell us about those silver atomizers that house your splashes. Do you do that to save room in your cabinet or for other reasons?

I don't have enough hardware to do a no-repeat November. Actually thinking in the opposite direction. No Variation November or something like that. Not a rule but perhaps an element that doesn't change all month - soap, perhaps. Still have time to decide.

 

I think they're made of platinum, Perry. Gotta remember who you're dealin' with.

@BaylorGator actually has the butler spray him down with AS (and apply wound dressings as required) after each shave is complete.

 

A little of both, Perry. I started using them in order to fit more on the shelf, but quickly found that I prefer them to traditional splash bottles. It gives you the option to spray the AS on directly or spray it on your hands and apply that way. I’ve gotten into a routine where I spray 3 pumps of the AS on my neck and 2 on my hand to rub evenly on my face. Same amount every time. No mess. No wiping off on towels. Gotta love it!

 

Your imaginings of my life sound awesome, Charlie. How do I trade lives with that guy? (Except for the wound part).

 

Sometimes my Bride stops me in mid-sentence and exclaims, "Charlie's world, Charlie's world!" That pretty much sums it up.

I'm leaving Florida tomorrow. Keep an eye on things down here for me. I should have a big box of cookies waiting for me on the doorstep when I get home.

They go well together, Paul. For my next shave I may use the soap and try Pinaud's other lime - Citrus Musk. The Lime Sec fades quickly where as the Citrus Musk may loose it's lime but the white musk holds on for a while.

I'm curious if anyone cares to share their thoughts about other lime AS/Colognes.
