Just because it was not fraud does not mean it wasn't spam. If he had approached it differently, everything would be different.

Speaking of sandalwood, any of you guys tried the anherb AS conditioner or gel?
It's supposed to use natural sandalwood Oil, kind of an odd scent at first, but it has grown on me.

I don't think I've ever had hamburger helper...

now that I'm back at school I'm trying to be a good veggie again, we have nice veggie/vegan dining hall and now that I don't have to worry about what my mom is cooking so I can choose whatever I want. I got really lucky actually, I had no idea this school was so vegetarian.

I can tell you aren't from the south or didn't go to college in the south. Hamburger helper and ramen noodles are the chief staple of every college student in the south except for some of those tech schools of course. HH is good stuff! Next day sucks but you can deal with it! Soaks up alot of alcohol also:rolleyes:

Why? Why would you not want to eat meat? Meat goooooodddd.

If I could eat only meat, I probably would. But I needs my veggies, too. A good balance. That's what it's all about - balance. ohm.

It was probably all the running around DW that caused you to lose the weight! Eating nothing but ramen for a few weeks, I think I'd gain weight! Can you say, "Carb Overload?" :D :D :D

Have you ever tried not eating meat? I feel way better when I'm on a veggie diet. I have more energy, I fall asleep easier, I never have tummy troubles. Although this might not just be the veggies, typically when I'm at home I'm eating garbage, things are made with a lot of oil and I always end up with a lot of fat in my diet because my house typically has no quick healthy snacks. When I'm not eating meat I tend to control everything, I cut out butter everywhere I can. No sugar, no excess oil, nothing fried, not a lot of dairy except yogurt which I love too much to give up and milk in cereal and coffee. I tend to drink less processed drinks, usually just tea, coffee and water, sometimes OJ too.

edit: not to say that I never eat junk when I'm a veggie, which explains today's easy mac. Just in general I try to make better choices when I can.

It isn't that I don't love burgers, because believe me I do. I just haven't felt as healthy as I think I should for the last few years, probably because of all the burgers between 2003 and 2007 :p .

    Nope.

I can do all that, and still eat meat. Almost 2 years ago (March will be 2 years) I really regulated what I ate, and along with an exercise program lost 40 lbs in about 8 months. Maybe a little too quickly. I never felt better. My diet was high in lean meat and veggies, with "good" carbs in moderation. I did cut carbs out completely for the first month, month and a half, but then added them back in. I fell off the wagon though. I had gotten promoted, was under a ton of stress, schedule change, new firehouse, blah, blah....The last thing I needed to do was stop working out, but that was the first thing to go...then the "stress" eating came back....Already long story short, I wound up putting most of the weight back on...

I've started with the workouts again, and will soon start working slowly on my eating habits. But I'm a meat-a-holic. There is no way I could ever, ever, not eat meat.

    To each his own...

Sorry for the long diatribe.... :D

After proofreading, I'm not sure where I was going with this....I need to go to bed. And WTF is "had gotten"??

    good night. eat meat. :D

    ...what's a crawdad?

That sucks that you put the weight back on :( I know how that feels. I could do everything I was doing as far as eating healthy goes and continue to eat meat but I feel like if I can cut it out of my diet then why not? a little B12 vitamin every day and I'm fine.
