On this day the Ikon Deluxe OC, a clone of the New Deluxe, beat yesterday's shave with the Short Comb. I get a lot of audible feedback but no tugging or evidence of blade chatter.

SE Sunday's Shave Cold Water Wash Cella Jayaruh #47 Synthetic C.V. Heljestrand Safety Razor C.V. Heljestrand Wedge CWR Pinaud Clubman AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Cella Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #47 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the C.V. Heljestrand Safety Razor with a C.V. Heljestrand Wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor-Gillette New Standard Blade-Gillette Silver Blue Brush- Whipped Dog Silvertip Soap-Pre de Prevence #63 Love this soap with its nice barbershop scent. The brush is BIG and it's nice and soft for face-lathering. The New Standard is middle-of-the-road when it comes to aggressiveness and usually a really comfortable shave. Herm
