Tracy, have you tried lathering the SC you got from Paul yet?

Granted I only tried one, but the Astra Superior was very BurnWoody for me, didn't impress me.

Didn't do a practice lather, there isn't enough there for that. Only enough for 2 maybe 3 shaves. Gonna give a go tomorrow. Might bust out the sledgehammer for that one.

Ahh young grasshopper you listen wisely. Actually Paul from Connaught chimed in on those posts in this thread and offered to send me a sample for free. I, of course, can't turn down free stuff. If it is good I have every intention of ordering a full size container.

I remember Paul saying that too, I was just giving you grief. I don't know why he didn't offer to send me any samples when I got the truckload of blades from him just a week earlier. Not complaining though, I got a great price on them buying in bulk.

The only downfall to the sample is the size. It is pretty hard to get a good feel for something with only 2 or so shaves, plus it doesn't leave any room for trial and error. I usually practice lather all of my stuff to get a feel for water ratios, etc, but won't get to with this.
