Im moving on to the Schick B. Although my least favorite of the repeating razors, the B does provide a decent shave if I pay attention to blade angle.

    Gem S/S [ 3 ]
    Floid Vigoroso A/S Lotion

This is my 3rd outing with the ATT SE-G since it has been modified. I find that it Shaves very smoothly
and though still on the mild side is quite efficient yet forgiving. The Shave was smooth an comfortable
and the resultant finish on the face was excellent, I am not getting it quite right around the neck. However, this is an area that often poses problems with other Razors too.

Did a back to back Shave with the ATT SE-G, and had no problems doing s0. Had a smooth Shave with a good close finish, getting better around the neck too. I noted that the Shave Time was similar to other Razor using a Gem Blade, but I feel that the Finish quality is not yet as good as I get with A Streamline or 1924.

I do actually love the Type O shave with Twin blade - I was really trying to say - the Clone Type O is just as good and it would be crazy paying all that money for a real type O! - but the type O is for sure mild!

smart man snagging one up!!!! ebarbershop did not sell outside of usa - there was a time I had several uropeans desperately asking me where I got mine! I guess even the clone Is hard to score in Europe

The type O was likely too mild for me. And $200 sitting on a shelf, just seemed silly.

    Williams Mug Soap
    Ever Ready "Streamline"
    Gem S/S [ 1 ]
    Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion

After remarking yesterday that certain Vintage SE Razors shave much better than my ATT SE-G, I had to put it to the test. I chose my favourite a "Streamline" with a fresh blade , and used the fairly new to me Iconic Williams soap.
To say it went well would be an understatement , those who condemned the Streamline as being too harsh did not persevere with it. The Shave was very smooth and comfortable, but the Streamline is very effective at eliminating growth that Shave Time seemed much quicker than yesterday. The overall quality of finish was of the face stroking variety, so my remarks of yesterday were proved correct. Perhaps an ER 1924 tomorrow .

    Razor: Schick L1 injector
Brush: Ever Ready 100T restored badger
    Soap: Stirling Green

Twin blade in the L1 for a smooth shave. These twin blades really amp up the milder injectors. Enjoyable shave and I hope you have a great day!

Col. Schick's brain-child was so far ahead of it's time....no one has caught up to it yet!
I think that was the repeaters undoing....It was too far ahead of it's time! And of course, after WWII the cost of production was cost prohibitive.

I think all models of the repeaters are Gems.
How does the first model. the A type shave?

The A type is a decent shaver, I would consider as good as most other Schick’s.

I can’t shave with a 1914 without following it with a 1924 and vice versa. They are both so good and it’s tough to pick which is better. I normally pick the 1924 but, as good as today’s shave was, I think the 1914 before this was better. :happy036:

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #217 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the MMOC Safety Razor with a Gem Blue Star CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Eureka!
The video I watched for how to use this razor showed a guy using many short strokes. Today I decided to flip that and make fewer long instead - so I slowly went from the top of my cheek to the jawline in one motion instead of lots of little ones. I thought that the fewer times I lifted the razor the fewer chances to get the angle wrong. The results were amazing! So much more comfortable and closer! My face feels great!! What a huge difference!

Wonderful photo, Paul! The Supply can certainly deliver amazing results. I use long strokes on my injector shaves as well.

Today is a first for me, a Badger Brush. Since my return to sensible forms of Shaving I have been using Boars/a mixed and more latterly Synthetics. My boars are well seasoned and have quite soft tips, but this new brush is incredibly soft. I think it will be reserved for special Shaves and my boars will be used when i want more of an exfoliating effect.
I perhaps got the brush a bit too wet, but the lather was good enough to allow the 1924 to work smoothly and comfortably, with a good quality all round finish. Though not in the same league as that attained with a Streamline yesterday.
