Wonderful lineup and photo Jim. The Dart looks fantastic. I will try to avoid the temptation during November. I am holding out for the Vector so I must resist.

Fantastic photos today to everyone. I am constantly in awe of the gear and picture quality (and subtle enabling) that goes on on this thread.
Yes for my friend. Why would you question that?
    Dude.....
Someday, I will be down to only one soap and razor too!
Wait until you start chasing some of the big customs. Osirus Blades, Koraat, Mike Martinez, Jerry Stark, Art Razors.... Not that I would ever enable my friends on this thread.
Ha ha ha. Do we need another bet here?

Thank you Perry. Is the school football season still going or is it over? I was just thinking about your band duties.

Thanks, Clint. I was waiting for the Vector myself. I'll probably still pull the trigger on it. I wanted the Dart when it was first released but decided to hold out for the polished version. Glad I did, it's beautiful.

We have two games remaining, one tomorrow and then last next Friday. The team was not good this year with a 1-7 record so far, so the season won't be extended with the playoffs. We back our practice schedule way down to once a week for an hour once the last contest is over. It's been a busy season as usual.

  10. RyX

    RyX DoH!

If I got the conversion correct, £ 0.49 = $ 0.6295. That's a better deal than ARKO or modern Williams, and depending on who you ask - a better soap.
About the same as upgrading from steerage to third class on ole R.N.A. ;)

I don't know Clint. I've been Ruling on the face lathers to develop my technique. There's always room for improvement but bowl lathers are a constant benchmark. Time will tell.
Andrew, not having used O.S. AS in a while I thought I detected a bit of cloves. It's one of the scents that keeps me from Bay Rums. I also tend to avoid Anise (black licorice) but basenotes.net lists it as a top note. I'm conflicted, but will continue to happily use it!

Joseph - I've watch a number of episodes of Jerry's show but don't know that one. Sharing a b-day with J.L.D. and liking her character in the series has me curious about the details!

Jason, Having seen photos but never held one of those - Is the handle knurling raised bumps ala Braille printing? Looks like it would be quite grippy and slip proof.

Not super grippy, Rick. The knurling on the knob end is more significant than the main handle as well. I would not call the knurling very pronounced, but it doesn't slip in my hand either.

Love the pics, Keith. Great minds on the Jeeves today as well...
You are probably right about the Coniferous, John. I got it awhile ago from Keith, and it is the older style Stirling label. Mine is still quite strongly scented, but the Sheep formula soaps are known for their olifactory overload.
Great combo, Perry. Baker Street is one sample that I will probably replace someday.
Sounds like a great start to the day, Clint. The pic is a stunner and that brush is showing signs of breaking in nicely. I like my boars with a higher loft, but that one seems to be working out well for you.
Good call, Randy. I went right from DE to Injector to trying the CJB. I had a few fillet o face moments before I got it somewhat under control. I didn't heed Keith's excellent advice to try it without a blade first. I would recommend that to anyone who picks one up.
Wow, another beauty, Jim. We should have a contest between the two Jims to see who has the most PAA combos. @Norcalnewb has a nice headstart, but you are catching up...

I don't think we've seen the depths of Jim's collection. He keeps pulling stuff out that I've never seen before.
