  1. Does anyone really ever know what is going on in this place???? And if they did know would that be a good thing?:D

    Fuzzy

  2. Nope, just threw here in reverse and gave her heck. Worked fine but last time I attemped that I did a 180.
  3. I did that in a 1992 peterbilt that was remodeled into a cotton module truck one time in north Carolina... ended up in the ditch.

    Fuzzy
  4. Got a good haircut this AM, and have a few more leads on where to do some "hands-on" shopping for Super Speeds in the area without having to trek all the way up to Pittsburgh.
  5. I don't drink coffee. It had to do with missing the vessel I was pouring into.
  6. Four wheel drive?

Sounds like a good story. Hint, hint.
  7. I let the wife have the 4 wheel drive because she transports the little one to day care, etc. Front wheel drive car for me, makes is more exciting when it gets nasty. I figure the towing company owes me some favors if I get into too much trouble.
  8. Good plan there, Tracy.

The car that was lent to me before Christmas was front wheel drive only. Made for some fun fish-tailing when we got those snow storms.

You should probably just grab the loader and use that instead of your truck. That would be great.

  9. I would have to leave for work about 45 minutes earlier. The loader tops out at about 22mph and that is with my foot into it the whole time.

Most of the time FWD is just as good if not bettter. In snow 4x4 is better but on ice I find FWD much better. Plus if it gets too bad I just stay home.
  10. I don't mind front wheel drive at all, get around great in my Accord in the winter. I have a rear wheel drive Ranger too, that thing gets stuck in parking lots.

  11. Yup..........

I find on icy conditions 4 wheel drive just means 4 wheels spin on the ice instead of 2. FWD works great on ice and I think gives a little better steering.
  12. I never drove in snow before this winter. Did some fishtailing and got stick in the snow a couple of times. Fun stuff.

So you say you find FWD better on ice?

I want a monster truck. No ice or snow will mess with me. Let's make Shep buy some for us.
  13. You answered my question for me right before I asked. :p
  14. I think it is better but 4WD lovers may disagree.

Shep wouldn't even buy us a Wii, he will never go for a monster truck.
  15. My Aerio SX is FWD. Jeremy Clarkson does not approve. :(

(Top Gear returns to UK TV in March, BTW)
  16. We'll have to gently 'persuade' him.

You and Ryan can be BFFs with your Suzukis.
  17. What the heck do I have to do with Suzuki? Unless you mean someone else.
  18. Hey everyone. Just getting up and finishing lunch, thought I'd check in real quick. Have to go SS&S.

    1. Rodd, that's funny. I guess it does sound kind of funny...it's just such a natural statement I don't even think about it anymore.

    2. Dom, sorry, no kids left on the bus.

    3. In freshly fallen snow when I'll have to drive before they clear the roads, I use my wife's AWD Volvo. Ice, and after the roads have cleared, my Impala does just fine.

    4. If Shep's buying everyone monster trucks, I'm in. Although I would prefer a monster Jeep. But beggars can't be choosers.

That about sums it up. I'll check back later once I'm at work and caught up. Sees youse laters.
  19. Oops.

DarkAudit and Ryan can not be best friends.

    Ryan = Subaru.

Just because two words start with S doesn't mean they're the same, Dom.
  20. Something like that.

    When worlds collide.
