This is the razor that started it all for me. It was my Grandpa’s and sat in a dresser for a long time before I realized you could still use those old fashioned things. I was looking for another razor to use a GEM blade with and it did the trick. Funny thing, though, I’d been away from these for so long I forgot to palm strop the new blade. Good thing my hand has gotten lighter since indulging the straights for so long. That blade was really sharp! Todays shave was with the Gem Featherweight. since it being Featherweight friday and all. I had a great shave, as i have come to expect from the FW. The soap was top notch, and as always, the Clubman does what it does best. No frills, no thrills, just a simple great shave to a start to a bad day. But, at least I got a good shave. Sat 27th Oct RazoRock Syn 22mm Williams Expert - Ice Blue/Menthol Mongoose B3 Schick Proline [ 2 ] Lemon Chill Splash- made by friend My second use of a Williams cream, beats the original and Ingrams too. As usual I use too much cream , but at least the lather is very rich. Had an excellent smooth Shave with a good finish. The Splash which has a Turkish Cologne base is very invigorating.
Your collection of stuff considering you are a fellow Brit is impressive. I find it really difficult to get a lot of the things available for good prices over here!
