As for your Lesson #2-I wonder how many drivers with cell-phones, in situations similar to what you describe say into their phone "I love you too.....YOU BLITHERING IDIOT!"?

Classic razor, Gary. I'm also planning a November focus with a '54 SS. I have one from my Bride's birth quarter.

Tell us about the model car (did you build it?) and the cigar box in your photos. My Dad smoked King Edwards for a few years, and I think of him when I see your SOTD photos.

I admit my weakness is brushes. For me I get a lot of joy out of face lathering and feeling the differences between brushes. However, if I were forced to pick just one brush, this Paladin would be in the running. It is not the best in any particular area but the combination is just a face lathering dream. Three passes and touch ups ended in a perfect BBS shave. I did manage to nick myself pretty good. Guess I shouldn't have chased the little guy. I need to start the chili and pick up some adult beverages to get set for a wonderful afternoon of college football. I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

Only one vendor, Fendrihan, showed up in a quick search. They want over US$10.00 for a stick from Canada. No prohibitively expensive.
That's why I'd hesitate to get the Wilky stick. I can get two more sticks of Palmolive for $4.25 shipped from GB. I know the Palmolive stick is good!

I have my Palmolive in a tin for better loading, and I prefer it to my TOBS and Dr. Jon's soaps! Though the others are great products, I just love Palmolive.

    NCoxSTL AAACK!

Actually the u-turn idiot was right behind Barnes-Jewish hospital by the Medical school. I expressed my displeasure with her in a way I think made an impression. The "reassembled Suburu" took place downtown STL just off Washington Avenue - a rather posh spot actually. The "hood" was the least of my problems yesterday and my forays into those areas were without incident. Well, other than my continued craving for some of the food in Mom's Soul Food Kitchen. Holy cow they have some of the best soul food I have found in STL. Turkey legs so big you can club people with them, rib tips, whole cooked okra, hog jowls, pig ear sandwiches, and, for the adventurous, tripe to die for. Mmmmmm...mmmmm....good.

That is very high praise for the Paladin indeed, Clint! The handle is a stunner as well.

A quality blade, no question. Not my faves- I put some of the St. Pete’s Gillette stuff on the top of the pedestal, but certainly a good product. He must have a ridiculous number of packs, as it has been a few years at least that he is selling them by the hundreds.
