It is more of a fan shape. He doesn't classify his knots the same as most people. In each release he picks what knot he is using and makes the brushes all ahead of time. Razor: Blackland Blackbird w/Delta Echo Finish (BlueBird) Blade: Feather Professional Brush: Semogue Owners Club Mistura Badger and Boar Taj Handle. Soap: Montrose Beach by Oleo Soapworks A/S: Floid Blue The Blackbird is an outstanding razor. I beleive the Delta Echo finish made the Blackbird a little more aggressive, which is fine by me. I think this may be the first Winter photo with snow this year. Anyway it was a great 2 passes with a touch up.
I wish you would stop posting that beautiful Paladin brush. It's going to start me on a quest. Which is usually expensive. Excellent setup and photograph Amigo.

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #217 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the J.A. Henckels Safety Razor with a J.A. Henckels Wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
