Glad you enjoyed it. I have eaten about a pound of the stuff in the last 2 days. It actually got better after a few days.

It is in Rising Sun, MD. Land of cows, combines, and Klan........

Okay, how much would a bag the size of the one you sent me cost? Does the price go down if someone wanted 20 pounds or so?

Im not good with weights but.....all this jerky was originally 7 lbs raw meat. My cost for the meat $22 and ingredients....about $3? $25 gets me about 3/4 of a gallon baggy full. I would say it was a pound? maybe:confused: pound and half? Not cheap but helluva lot cheaper than the store crap. No discount for bulk since I can only do that much every 24 hours:(

Okay, are you saying that the bag you sent me was a pound, or that you get a pound out of what is in the picture?

I think 7 pounds of starting material will make 1 to 1.5 pounds of finished product.

Should I buy beer on the way home? Lately I've been dusting a six pack a night. Over six hours or so, but still.

    Yup..........

If you can drink beer without it leading to liquor, I say go for it.

    Hmmmmmmmmm............

Normally I would highly recommend getting too drunk to fish, but it is pretty cold out. Sounds like you need a large boned woman of loose morals and imperceptable values...... That should work....

I think the package was 5oz? of 6 maybe? JoAnna had one too that was a bit more. I will attempt to weigh the whole thing next time. 7 lbs of meat sure doesnt produce much jerky though:(
