    Blade: Schick
    Razor: Schick G4 '66'
    Brush: Surrey badger
    Soap: Soap Commander Courage

Easy shave with the Schick 66. I really enjoy these injectors with the colored handles. I need some of the gold-flecked K razors at some point. Anyway, this was a nice shave. Enjoy your weekend!

Doesn't make a difference to me, but to others it does.

  7. So, thanks to my quick and undetectable moderator skills, I was able to dig up said post.
Again, this was just for conversation, not saying it "actually" has to be like this, however, I for one don't like bricks getting tossed at me, so proceed at your own risk.

  10. I need to repaint the handle on the Pal, GM Satin Black Enamel would look good. It does shave really well though.

  12. Sun 4th November

    Simpson Chubby 1 / Maggards 24mm -2 band
    Tabac Soap
    Alu General/ ES Claymore Handle
    Schick Proline [ 4 ]
    Tabac A/S Lotion

I am getting nicer Shaves with the General since I fitted it with this S/S Handle. The shave was smooth and comfortable with a good close finish. But the Star of the show was the Brush, my 3rd use of a Badger and I got the moisture right, so it worked well with the soap and applying lather to the face was like being wafted by a feather.

  13. Good afternoon, gentlemen! I hasten to share the huge positive emotions that shaving with an SE razor gave me. It really is worth losing time in search of a razor. Then you need to be patient and go looking for good SE blades, and wait for a call from the post office. But all this is worth it to carefully open the mail package. Get the blades. Put them in their place in the razor, and make sure everything is ready for shaving. Good soap and brush will fulfill their mission, and you will get a lot of impressions. Shaving passed with the result close to the ideal. Even more than I could have expected. Smooth skin and good mood. Sumptuously.

  17. That is one nice razor you own, is it easy to clean to keep it that nice looking.

  18. I have a few Delta Echo'd (gunkoted) razors, and I've found them a little easier to keep clean because it's easy to see precisely where the soap is hiding. I'm pretty fastidious with all my hardware, and I probably spend an above average amount of time rinsing and wiping them them down immediately post shave (I'm a shower shaver, so I do the clean-up while in the shower. As far as how often I do a rigorous cleaning (toothbrush and scrubbing bubbles), I don't treat the coated vs. stock razors any differently. To further demonstrate my legitimate OCD method for post shave care, I do the following after every shave and leave the fan on it overnight. The only exception is when I use a cream. At which point, a damp brush never touches the cream and thus there is no concern for residual water in the tub. The hardware, however, always gets this treatment, and it's always following a thorough rinse and wipe-down.

  19. I received this Ever-Ready 24 recently in a batch of razors. It is in great shape. I am planning on using it for next week's shaves Monday through Friday.
