Saving An Opal #12 Brush

    When I got this brush, I wasn't sure on how I was going to proceed on it. It might be hard to see in this pic, but the top part was full of cracks. Even some sanding wouldn't help..........

    After I received some 24mm Tuxedo knots, I just thought why not just cut it down and open it up to make one fit. The next two pics after this was done..........

    And this final pic showing it completed. The knot was an almost exact fit..........

    The brush looks damn good. I wish those tuxedo knots had just a tad less backbone. I have a few and they are just a little to stiff to me.
