Great shave, Charlie! The Hendrix soap is quite a pleasure to use. There's gonna be a full tub ordered once my sample is kicked.

 

I'm not sure if MWF is mutton tallow or just added lanolin. Need to figure that one out. As far as performance my gut reaction is that the Sheep is a bit more cushy, if that's a word. However, I've let my Mitchell's sit without use for far too long. I believe a comparison will be in order to help sort that out. I do think Mitchell's would last longer, but that's just because it's a triple milled beast of a puck. One other thought - I have some left overs of my last Mitchell's puck waiting for leftovers from my Tabac bowl to mix some more Fatbac. I also have part of a sample puck of the Sheep. Hmmm.......Stirling's and Mitchell's presents "SheepFat"? "FatSheep"?

In theory, this is how it SHOULD work, Jason. Right now, though, I have a cabinet with a few extra soaps and brushes in it over and above my main shaving cabinet, so I'm trying to whittle down the collection in order to get there. The good news is that I do need to expand my collection of AS a bit, and my straights don't go in my shaving cabinet, so there is still some opportunity for AD love). Long story short, you've stated my goal, I just gotta get there now.

 

Great lineup and photo John. As much as I like coffee I have never tried a coffee scented a soap.

Thank you, Clint! I would say I prefer the Stirling base a bit to PAA, but the Crowne King base from PAA is right up there with some of the best, IMO. I am really looking forward to trying the CK6 base they just released.
