Terrific photo, Jim! I see that Port au Prince sample is hanging on! Those Stirling samples provide a lot of shaves.

Nice shave, Neal! Ozark Mountain is one of my favorite Stirling scents. It reminds me of the holidays.

    Nice picture and shave, Jim!

    Thank you, Perry!
I've been blooming every morning and loading longer than usual. I have a scuttle brimming with lather and I still have a ways to go with the Port Au Prince.

    Gillette Z-3 Super Speed
    Ladas Super Stainless (1)
B-400 by Tom aluminum handle with an Envy White supreme two-band knot
Hendrix Classics & Co. Shaving Soap (2)
Alum, Thayers Lavender witch hazel, unrefined shea butter, and Fine Platinum

This was the first time I've used a Ladas Super Stainless blade and the B-400 by Tom brush. I'm very pleased with both of them. The Ladas is sharp and nearly as smooth as the Voskie. The B-400 handle with the Envy White two-band knots was very comfortable to hold. The knot has tremendous backbone with soft tips...no scritch at all. Second appearance of the Hendrix shave soap. We'll see how many shaves I can get out of this generous sample. So again, everything went per the SOP this morning on my simple two-pass shave, and I finished with a generous splash of Fine Platinum. Hoo boy! My mug is happy and smooth again this morning.

    Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Thanks Bruce. It's a really cool brush. @twhite did a fantastic job fabricating the handle, and props to @clint64 and @Boojum1 for recommending the wonderful Envy White knot. This brush is different than any other in my small rotation.

I'm surprised that the Maggard Tobacco&Leather A.S. felt better with Barbasol than it did with the LG soap. Perhaps the LG WAS the factor that led to the fireball.

Great photos and reports to start us off right this morning, gentlemen!

Charlie, I agree about the Envy White knots. After reading Clint's frequent praise of his, the first really good badger brush I bought (after several cheap bad ones that had nearly put me off badger for life) was an Envy White in their Alluminati handle. It has been an absolute delight to use and turned my views on badger brushes completely around. The Envy White was a great recommendation.

Now, after throwing out the Local Gent Tobacco Lounge, I'm going to give some serious attention to the Regiment and Deluxe in coming days. This is not to say "What will I throw out NEXT(as I like both soaps), but it isn't lost on me that many varieties from Deluxe remain sold out-you are left to hope there will be a day when more of those soaps will be available. The Regiments look safe. (These were PIFed to me, by the way).

    Ugh.
So, up I am at this crazy hour and therefore shaving much earlier than the norm...hence bad lighting in our bathroom.
    Ergo, crappy photo today.
The shave is "in the can".
Good performance from everything, even the Personna 74 blade.
The Ranger Tech is my #1 razor.
The Semogue dropped two bristles today. :angry019:

The first one I blame on the MW. No kidding. When first loading this soap, it is sticky as glue.
I believe it was responsible for the hair loss.
The second came out after I cleaned the brush and was giving it a shake out. Maybe I was too aggressive,
    maybe...:signs002:
Do NOT like brushes that give up their bristles.
C.O. Bigelow No. 032 finished up a great shave.
