    Thank you, Jason.
The bowl is my first lather bowl. I replaced it with a Captain's Choice because I felt it was too small at the time. Right now I have the Port Au Prince sample pressed into the bottom of it. I load my brush from that bowl and build my lather in the scuttle. When I'm not using it in this way it's what I use to soak my brushes.

Well, as I said, it hasn't entered my mind to throw away another one.

That's a good plan. I'm pretty much adhering to a similar philosophy. I can usually stick to it fairly well. I think the only new brand I've added a soap from this past year is Saponificio Varesino. I've also been thinking about the Valobra Fougere off and on. Might succumb if I place a Connaught blade order. Being in a NB for 6 months helped, but being quite purposeful afterwards has helped too. Have added two Jeeves soaps, one by purchase, one by trade over the same period. It was just an added bonus that the 30DC labeled Blood on Steel was a Jeeves product, as it is one of my favourite bases. I've said it before though- Who am I kidding, it was labeled 30 Day Crew- it could have been made by Tibetan Monks and scented like cheese sauce and I would have bought it.

Was that you Brian @mrchick pulling out the Route 66? Old Timers Disease comes and goes, but I'm fairly certain Charlie @wristwatchb passed around full tubs about the time I joined The 30 DC. He nailed the scent without asking - good old fashion powdery nostalgia & a no-fault lather every time. I started with my currently oldest brush purchased new and it's well broken in. Loaded from a bloomed puck, face lathered for the first two passes, and went to the bowl to see what was left in the knot for the third. Even had enough for some clean up buffing. I swapped in the slightly used blade from the last razor, made sure I had the cap properly orientated, and checked the setting; 4-1/2. Loud feedback compared to other razors, slightly slippery handle, no nicks or blood. Pulled off a DFS+ with no irritation on my lower neck. The Clubman is labeled "Lotion" and it has more than alcohol and scent. Maybe the oakmoss & treemoss extract gives that smooth long lasting feel. Only Clint @clint64 knows for sure about outdoor ground level secondary growth because I don't think he like the Clubman.
    Good Shaves Y'all!

A listing in the "Ingredients" of the British Racing Green puck I've been enjoying(from DeluxeShaving)is "Silk fibres". That is separate from "lanolin"-I would have thought the lanlolin CONTAINS silk "fibres". Makes me wonder if the "Sheep" soaps from Stoylin have both.

Rick, that's for sure. I'm sure @BaylorGator won't be any the wiser, as you enabled the Auto Cartel Encrypt function. That's a great option when we can't communicate directly at Cartel HQ using the Cone of Silence.

Yeah, over time I have also dumped the soaps and creams that didn't work so well and only kept the makes whose bases worked for me. Which has left me with only 40 brands in my den, and 4 others I want to try... Fact is, there are an awful lot of decent makes out there...

Thank you, Jason! I am honestly not sure if this is a match to Penhaligon's or not, but I have always assumed it is.

I haven't tried a lot of soaps, so I'm blissfully unaware of so many brands. I've seen them on SOTD posts and the like but have never tried them. That's just fine! I know what works for me so far.

Thank you, Jason. I appreciate the kind words.

I think Canada has the Iced Tea thing figured out. Most places in my neck of the woods serve Un-sweet Iced Tea, and it's just something to drink with a meal to prevent choking on a hunk of food. Every now and then, I get a Sweet Tea...or Southern Sweet Tea as it is sometimes called...and that's a real treat.

John, I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a good day. I appreciate all the information you've shared this month about your collection of Techs. It has been very interesting.

Safe travels, Jason, and fantastic SOTD shot! I've enjoyed following your exploits with the Supply and now with the PAL. It must really be a beast to earn the title of Meatgrinder.
