Excellent photo and setup, Jim! How do you like the Green Ray brush? It has a cool vintage look to it (which it's supposed to!).

Stunning photo, Jim!! And, congrats on the new gear! Have you ever used the same soap and aftershave more than once? :happy102:

    IMG_20181108_062919_kindlephoto-28051065.jpg

Gillette English Aristocrat Jr. / Rapira Swedish Supersteel (1)
JR #276 white ash (Louisville Slugger stub) and Omega 49 boar knot
    TSD Lavender lanolin soap
Alum and TSD Lavender Milk Aftershave

Today I moved to using my TSD Shop products. I thought I had four tubs of soap - Lavender, Sandalwood, Bay Rum and Sensitive (unscented) - but I can only find three. I have a horrible feeling that when I PIFed some sandalwood soaps and creams to another 30DCer, I included my tub of TSD Shop lanolin soap. Of course, that was before the Shop closing was announced and the soap became unobtainium... Anyway, today I went with lavender soap and milk aftershave.

Lovely pure lavender scent, great lather easily face lathered by the boar brush, and the usual good face feeling common to lanolin products.

The English Aristocrat Jr is a solid, finely finished razor that always delivers a close, consistent shave. I am honestly not sure why it was labelled a "Junior" razor, because the result it provides is all grown up. Two passes with the fresh Rapira blade and I am BBS with no irritation. The aftershave milk wasn't really necessary for skincare, but I used it to extend the scent.

I am cleanshaven, refreshed and all ready to go meet the dentist to have a broken filling replaced...

    Wonderful photo, Jim!

Jim - just terrific! So the Vector is a single edge razor? I'm quite ignorant of the new gear offerings!

Great photo and shave Jim. It takes time to get used to the width of an AC razor.

I am moving a little slow this morning which is not necessarily a bad thing. Excellent two pass shave to start the day. With touch ups, I just missed the baby which is more than good enough. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

Thanks, Clint. I was especially careful not to clip the corners of my half grown mustache off.

    Thanks, gentlemen!

I don't think I will need luck at the dentist. It's just a simple filling replacement and he's very competent so I am sure there won't be any surprises or problems. Well, almost sure. Pretty sure. Sort of sure. Okay, I hate visiting the dentist and I 'll take all the luck I can get... :(

Well, it went to someone whose girlfriend absolutely adores sandalwood scent on him, so I am sure it's in good hands at least.
